Khyber Agency — A twenty four years old tribal youth whose both legs has been disabled by polio virus asked the Political Agent, Members Parliament and other philanthropists to assist him financially to treatment the crippling disease.

Talking to media persons in Landi Kotal press club on Thursday, Roman Khan son of Shah Qadar said that he was one year old when he had got the curse and paralyzed his both legs. He maintained that the doctor in Peshawar prescribed him treatment that would make possible for him to walk at least with crutches instead of crawling. However he added that the doctor asked for Rs. 250000 for curing that was impossible for him to arrange.

He had studied till 3rd grade and wanted to continue his studies but his disability could not permit, he remarked.

“My father is jobless and I am the elder child of my parent therefore being member of a poor family cannot afford my treatment”, he lamented.

The special person appealed the PA Khyber, Member National Assembly, the Senator and philanthropists to extend every possible financial support to him to let him to get rid off of the disability.
